Tickets to Spring Concert
All of our dancers are working hard in classes to improve their technique, abilities, and confidence and are also working on the choreography for their class performances and good progress has been made.
SOME IMPORTANT NOTES
First - PLEASE ~ NO ABSENCES from classes!
Our Instructors urge all students to attend EVERY class until the performance, so that each student can dance with assurance and skill -- and so the class can have the best opportunity for being well-rehearsed in order to showcase their accomplishments. Please keep in mind that each student's absence not only affects the absent student, but affects the whole class as well.
Ticket Sales for CONCERT Performances
Tickets to the Logrea Dance Academy Spring Concert will be available to purchase in the following ways:
• online at the SUNY Purchase Performing Arts Center website: NOTE: Transactions done via the SUNY Performing Arts Center website incur the lowest sales fees (even lower than walkup) and the default method of delivery is now via email. This delivery option is free. Patrons can either pull up their tickets on their phone to be scanned for entry or they can print a hard copy at home. Mailed and hold-at-box office tickets will incur a fee. The website is:
https://www.artscenter.org/events/logrea-dance-academy-2/
• by phone via 914-251-6200
• at the box office window (where there is a higher rate service fee)
Please remember that if you would like your performing student to join you in the audience for Act II, you must purchase a seat for them as well as yourself (see Discount for Act II Tickets below).
GROUP SALE TICKETS
If you wish to purchase tickets for a Group at a discount price, there is a code you must use: LGD GRP This will allow patrons to buy a minimum of 10 group tickets online.
DISCOUNT FOR ACT II TICKETS
LDA will provide a Voucher for each performing student who is not performing in Act II, allowing them to purchase one ticket for the performance that they are in at the reduced price of $18 (approx 25% savings over the regular ticket price). This reduced price ticket is for the use of the performing student only so that they can join their family in the audience for the second Act. We hope that this makes it possible for more students to be able to enjoy the performance of “Excerpts from Swan Lake”, danced by Logrea Dance Academy members of the Westchester Ballet Company.
The Voucher can only be used when purchasing tickets in person at the SUNY Performing Arts Center - the vouchers cannot be used to purchase tickets online. We know this may be an inconvenience for some parents, but there is no option for redeeming this Voucher online or by phone. Note: the service fee charged at the window will match the lower online service fee for vouchers sales ONLY. Non-voucher window purchases will incur the higher $5 service fee.
If you would like to utilize the Voucher that is reserved in your child's name, you can pick it up at the front desk at the studio at your convenience. If your child is dancing in more than one performance, you are entitled to a Voucher for each performance that she/he is performing in as long as they are not performing in Act II of that performance. Note: Students who are dancing in Act II are not entitled to vouchers, because they will not be able to sit in the audience!
Note: all LDA classes will be in the FIRST ACT of the performance that they are in; Act II will consist only of the WBC presentation “Excerpts from Swan Lake". If your student is not in the WBC presentation, they are entitled to the discount voucher for an Act II ticket.
Please make sure that you don’t lose the voucher once you’ve picked up it up, since we can only issue one voucher to each student for the performance(s) that they are dancing in. We will not be able to replace lost or misplaced vouchers.
You can find the listing of which classes are dancing in each performance and many other details about the performance online -

We are all looking forward to a wonderful weekend of Performances!
